Admission Guidelines

A young boy with short hair wearing a blue hoodie with a logo in front is sitting on a wooden chair outdoors, smiling and looking at the camera. There is a person in the background wearing a black jacket and gray skirt.

At Beautiful Day Learning, we strive to create a safe, supportive, and engaging community for every participant. To ensure we can meet each person’s needs with care and dignity, we ask that applicants meet the following guidelines:

  • Safety & Well-Being: At this time, we are unable to accommodate individuals who require skilled nursing care or those whose behaviors are physically or verbally aggressive, emotionally unsafe, or otherwise outside the level of support we can provide.

  • Diagnosis: Participants should have a primary diagnosis of Intellectual Disability or Autism.

  • Age: All applicants must be 18 years or older.

  • Support Needs: Individuals should be able to participate within our group setting without requiring continuous one-on-one support. Our program is designed around an ideal staff-to-participant ratio of 1:8.

  • Health Requirements: A recent medical evaluation (within the past year) is required, confirming good overall health and freedom from communicable diseases.
